There are a few of us who have wholesale accounts at parts warehouses but we'll need to know the same things the parts stores asks...what year mainly. I pulled up a pump for a '95 and it was quite a bit less than $250. Pm me with some details and I might be able to help you out...

Found my old account, I'll see if I can get rid of the old one in a bit.

The car is a 1995 850r Turbo Sportswagon. Has been really good to us despite the mileage (326,000k) and very well cared for by the 2 PO's. Hoping to get Lisa back on the road by Monday. Haynes makes the fuel pump sound like a relatively easy fix, but that's Haynes for you.

I'll let you know how it goes, and again, if anyone has some parts or tips I would appreciate both.

Thanks

Removal was easy. Now just waiting for the new pump. The one I ordered will be available Tuesday.

It's funny, the more I repair this car the more I like it. Wish I got to drive it as much as my wife.

There are 5 sitting in a Calgary warehouse for $80 less...Bosch...

...and it looks like there is also a Hella pump for under $100.

Sorry, I didn't get to see this one till now, but if it's not too late I have a fuel pump that worked perfectly when I took it out of my 96 platinum 850, it had ~190,000 kms on it. The only reason I took it out is I had a walbro ready to go in for some time.

If you still want/ need one, you can have it for say $80.00 bucks, available immediately, in Calgary (obviously).

Feel free to pm me as I check my email more often than the forum. I appologize to the mods, if I have done anything against the forum rules, I'm just tryna help a fellow Volvo owner out, let alone an 850...

I have no problem with members helping each other out. I just don't like it when people sign up to try to sell their stuff on here.

Thanks Ahmad (Platinum850). Great guy to deal with, gave me lots of tips, even called as I was finishing up to make sure everything worked out well. Class act with a classy looking car.
