We decided to let the leg go. We really need a reliable winter car as the del sol needs a lot of work even before the accident. If I had the time(desire is probably a better word) to figure out su carbs, buy a rebuild kit, buy a su book, rebuild the carb and reinstall i would, but by the time that happened it would be summer. We have a nice summer car.
1983 b21a 240 coupe
300k +kms on odo but more than likely closer to 400k kms from what the previous owner told me.
m45 w/overdrive, sticky between 1st and 2nd and reverse sometimes doesnt engage on grades. Overdrive always engages.
Car has current safety, however, after getting backed into, the car looks best for parts. Ran great prior to winter.
Glass except windshield is very good. Door cards and plastic door bins are in good shape but brown so more than likely not usable. Rear seat upholstery is usable, front seats need foam and steam clean. Suroof that recently started leaking as i am unable to fully close it due to a partly stripped handle and track. No options car with a non-oil using or burning b21a.
I am keeping the 4 studded winter tires, new plug wires, and aux fuel filter, as one day i will purchase a 240 that doesnt require work (

), but I am not ambitious enough to remove the brand new blower motor.
Will consider parting out, but all parts would have to be removed on the same day that way the rest can be sent to Airport PYP so that i dont have a partly stripped car in my back yard, I already have a cougar with that discription.
I would like offers, but if it would go to some one who would strip it completely of all usable parts, I would let it go for free, but bring your own tires!
