We have 4 old Volvos for sale in various states of disrepair. We are moving within a month and need these former racing motor volvos gone from the yard-the sooner the better. they would be great for someone wanting to rebuild or part out-must take the whole car. If not gone soon, will be donated to the kidney foundation. Must be seen to appreciate. please call 403-475-4820

Hi - its 2am, or I might call, but it would be better if you put some details on here.

(What lurks in the woodwork???)

I've spoken with the gentleman. Matt and I are going over tonight to see what's there and will report back. Please don't inundate him with phone calls as he isn't that familiar with what's there. We'll get more info and report back.

They're probably all late 70's - early 80's DL's with b21a, autotragic and AC...

Nope. They're 122s and all rusty. Sorry to put a damper on the party... :(

Rusty 122's - who woulda thunk?

If nobody else wants them, I'll give John a call. I need some work done on my tranny, so might just do a swap.

Four (really)? Any idea of price? Location? (Other buyers?)

The racing motors bit was a misunderstanding, I think. Nothing special or out of the ordinary with them from what the owner told us. Nothing was well stored, everything seemed to have been left open to the elements. 2 of the 4 "cars" were pretty ratty, one was absolutely destroyed with rust and is being used as a shed (wasn't even a car anymore, really), and the fourth had been repainted at some time so who knows what lurks beneath. Only one looked reasonably complete, and he was saying how he was going to keep that one (one of the ratty two). We were rather horrified, but there might be some parts there for a guy restoring one (like me).

Thanks, I'll give John a call - sounds like it will be either that or the scrapyard.

I've made arrangements to snag a couple before they go to the crusher (if they're not sold in the meantime), just to pull some spare parts. We'll see...

Okay Dale, they are all your's.

I've got a bit of a problem with my tranny - any good ones lying-around that you know of?
