There are basketweave's for 780's (Mulit-X) that are the right bolt pattern, but they are 15's. Some of the later FWD cars have spoke style wheels (BBS is a little too generic a refernce point). I'm not in love with most of them (Triton is OK, Propus is fine, there are others) - they tend to have no lip and goofy fake bolts or softened outlines that make the wheels look soft and cuddly. I still like the arrakis for 240's - almost went that way but decided on the Tethys.

Not 17", or BBS, but high quality OEM!

Here's a set of the multi-x Craig mentioned:

http://vancouver.en.craigslist.ca/rds/p ... 50048.html

This is an apparent set of BBS in the correct pattern, but will require spacers:

Get good at searching craigslist....

This. The wheels you want are not all that common and there is only about a dozen of us that post here regularly so it's a very small market. You should try TB/VS/SS, shipping's going to suck but the US economy suck's more so some deals to be had right now.

You'll need 1" adaptors, at which point you could use a different bolt pattern and have a way bigger selection of wheels.

Go to FS on tbrix and then look in the Seller and Buyer feedback section, he's right near the top which doesn't correlate with his sales service... Sounds like he may have got his poop in a group since all of the issues on TB blew up and he was banned, proceed at your own peril...

Talk to Dale (Pylon) about spacers, he gets them made here in Calgary

There's no doubt that few shed a tear when Brett got the boot, but he brought it on himself with his attitude. It's also well documented that a lot of people went through a ton of frustration getting their deals completed, but to Brett's credit he eventually (look at the time line of that whole fiasco, completely outrageous) took responsibility and as far as I know made everyone whole in the end. I guess it's your call on whether or not you want to do a long distance deal with him.

The new price is $295 ea. so $1180 for the set. He mentions that the one rim needs a $100 worth of repair so his firm price is now $900 unless you don't care about the one damaged rim. At $900 that's 76% of new price which isn't worth it to me but may be for you. It's probably a little better with shipping factored in as it should be way cheaper to get a set of wheels from Vancouver than the US and A.

You started out looking at 16" or 17" rims, have you looked in to max tire widths and how much fender rolling is required to stuff 18's in there? To keep your speedo anywhere close you'll be riding on a strip of rubber as well.
