Hi guys,

I have some old Volvo parts I'd like to sell. If anyone has the time, I'd love you to give me some idea of what this stuff is worth. I'm having a hard time finding listings. I'm not trying to take advantage of anyone. I'd like whatever a reasonable price is. I have someone who is interested in the transmission but wants me to name a price.

1. Hood (might go to Craig, pics coming)
2. M41 transmission with overdrive, driveshaft included
3. Pretty much brand new clutch (will probably go with the transmission)
4. 123GT tach
5. pair of rough 123GT seats (would have to be re-covered)

Here are some totally wild guesses. Help me to not get taken, or go ahead and take advantage of me. :)

1. $100
2. $450
3. $150
4. $100
5. $50

Thanks,
Dustin

Depends greatly on how deep your buyer's pockets are. I likely wouldn't give you $450 for everything on that list, but then I have most (all?) of that stuff and don't need more spares. When you can buy a car with all that stuff on or in it for under $500, it's tough to shell out that kind of dough for just a few parts. Having said that, I once paid $125 for that driveshaft because I needed it. I now have 3 spares...

eBay is the place you stand the best chance of maximizing your profits.

Guess I'm not much help...

Hi guys,

Thanks for that. I'm not trying to make a killing. I just want to sell the stuff for some fair price. Your point is well taken. It's whatever the market will pay.

The seats are pretty rough in that they'd need to be recovered, but the Recaro parts and the seat frames are fine.

I owe you pictures of the hood and I'll snap some of the seats too. I will have to do it tomorrow night. I've been getting to work really early and leaving really late for the last little while.

Thanks,
Dustin
