Has anyone a set of the 15" multispoke 740 wheels for sale. I'm tired of the "cast iron" standards that came on mine. Even a set of the 5 spoke 15" would be better.
Also does anyone know what other cars wheels will fit the Vovlo 740? My brother has a set of BMW wheels but they're buried in a storage unit.

You need 5x108 bolt pattern which is fine as long as you have a Ferrari, Lamborghini or DeTomaso with a bunch of spare wheels laying around. The stock offset is 25mm (ET-25 is usually how the wheels are marked). You can find some FWD Ford products with the same bolt pattern but they typically have 35 to 40mm placing them too far inboard. I've seen Virgo wheels from a 240 on a 7 series car but I know they don't fit on everything. FWD Volvos use the same bolt pattern but have even higher offsets than the FWD Ford products. They can be used with spacers...typically 25mm spacers are used.

I have a set of nice 15" BBS rims with RWD offset. I'm bringing a bunch of parts down to Calgary this weekend, i can throw them in the truck for ya.
Rubber is crap tho.
$300

here's a pic, they're on my 940 parts car:

Look good, solyeahman, but why $300 on one page and $200 on the other. I like the $200 price tag better cause would have to probably get them shipped to the 'Hat. Clue me in and maybe we can talk turkey (after I convince my wife that I need them). Thks.

also, to add a bit on to what was already said: Virgos work great on 740s, but don't quite clear the 940 front calipers.

My BBS wheels came off of a 940, so they'll work on 7s and 2s as well.

solyeahman, I convinced my wife that wheels for the 740 are more important than for the Honda right now so I will accept ur offer. The only thing is that I don't get up to Calgary or anywhere else for that matter and you said that you run between Saskatoon and Calgary once in a while and could bring the wheels down. I was wondering if you are willing to bring them down with you next run you make and maybe I could meet you at Junction of Hiway 904 and Hiway 41 from the Hat. I think Oyen is right there. I hope all four wheels look as good as those in the picture with no curb chips. They would look great on the 740 and allow a little wider, lower aspect tire. I'm getting Bilstiens for it now so handling should be quite a bit better after wheels and new shocks. Let me know what you think and we can get together somehow. Thanks, Keith

Is there anyway you could ship those wheels w/tires (protect the outer rim). I'm sure Purolator or UPS would take them with just tags on them. Phone me at 403-527-7068 or post reply. We'll have to work out payment although COD should work. Get back please.
