A friend of a friend is selling his '84 242 Ti, so I offered to talk to a few people here to see if there was any interest. Its one of the first intercooled cars, M46, dark blue, 306,000 kms, one owner. Interior has a broken console and the usual cracked dash, but is otherwise fine. Windshield is cracked. Blower motor is good, amazingly. Turbo has been replaced, doesn't burn any oil. Rack is leaking, but otherwise no leaks. Main issue is rust...both buttcheeks have large holes, and there's major rust all the way along the sides. But I drove it, and it runs great, is quiet, pulls hard, and would serve as a decent winter beater for a season or two. Comes with Virgos, and steelies on okay winters.
Most people here need a rusty 242 like a hole in the head, but I figured I'd check. $700 but would be open to offers. Just wants it to go to a good home. PM me for contact info.
