Sounds like the typical issues you might have with a lower-than-stock offset. The wheels/tires are pushed slightly outboard. This has no effect on the rear end but on the front the wheels tend to move in an arc rather than pivot on a point, so at full lock, things aren't quite pointing in the right direction. I found mine did more strange things backing up as well. Of course, 7mm isn't that bad compared to what some run but yes, this is typical. Unfortunately there isn't anything that can be done because the hub surface and the hub face on the wheel are both fixed and your issue is the wheel is already too far outboard.
