.I am gonna have the whole thing rebuilt anyway's, 80,000 km on the one I have,about 70,000 with the locker installed. it is getting very noisy and vibrates pretty bad on the coast down. so will prolly have all the bearings and such replaced. I realize the difference is only about 8%...but I thought I would see what's out there. What I would like is the T5Z trans with the 2.95 first,which would make that gear more usable...and the taller diff would make the highway cruise slightly better. Mileage is not bad right now, I have got as high as 29 mpg on a cruise, and regularly get 23-26 (it is hard to drive at 110 ) my 940t wagon couldn't manage those figures sometimes. I am not against buying the whole assembly....
