I've got a 780 for sale but it's a V6/auto. It's not what you're asking about but PM me if you're interested.

Hmmm...I'm trying to thin the herd and have an '88 244 M47 car. The problem is it's my winter beater and my daily driver right now. However, at some point it might be for sale.

Here you go, just popped up yesterday. Terrible pictures and it looks kinda rough, might be horrible in person? You're probably scouring Kijiji and saw it already?

Yeah I actually messaged that guy a few months ago when he was trying to sell. Odo doesn't work lots of wheel well rust. Burgundy with tan interior now surge at idle according to him haha

Yikes! I guess hoping I might get $1000 out of mine is undervaluing it a significant amount based on this guy's asking price...

Yeah I definitely think his price is quite high. Not worth near that in my opinion

Funny, I thought that wasn't such a bad price. It's not as rough as my 242 was when I bought it from Dale. It's K-Jet - they have idle issues that can be fixed (though I never got mine to work properly). Depends what you want...a 2 door doesn't come around very often.

I don't know if I'd say it's quite high, but looking at the market how many 242's are coming up anymore? He's asking $1500 and has had it for sale for awhile, how bad does he want to sell it? It looks a bit rough in the pics but it's a 242 with a stick and a b23e, not a b21ft which is best but not a b21 with an autotragic either... You mentioned before the odometer not working, you realize that finding any 240 with a working odometer is pretty rare?

This. 242's and 245's are always higher, sedans are generally meh.

I got $1900 for my 90 w/ m47 last year, but I also had done quite a bit to it as well.
