I'd really rather keep it but it was brought in to sell and sell it is what we'll do. This is a fabulous car. Hard to compare it to a RWD Volvo as it's really in a different league. I've got a bunch more pictures if anyone is seriously interested...

I'm sitting here trying to convince myself that as a seldom driven "trip" car yearly servicing wouldn't be that bad. But that first big "MB" type of expense would bring Lisa to tears, oh well...

I doubt it's any worse than the newer Volvo stuff. You'd have a hard time only driving this on road trips. It's way too much fun...

Sorry - randomly catching up on forums so this explains my other post requesting updates on your e55t purchase.

Super rare E63t on Kijiji for $59k happened to be on the page when I followed the link - so much want!

Might have to get Athal to bring me one in, I'm not fussy 100K would be fine.

Any pics yet of said 80K car? Still blows my mind that these cars have such low mileage...

He's quite serious about the 80k car being available Jim. I'm sure he'll post pics but it's in very nice shape.

I was considering it for myself except action on my diesel has been quiet and I ran out of room to store it any longer.

Yes Jim, I'm serious. There's yet another waiting to be picked up that has my name on it. It has only 67,000km on it. Drive one of these things home from Vancouver once and you'll be hooked.

I had my first go in the twisties today and was astonished how i carries itself for a big heavy car. Fred couldn't lose me on the corners in his Fiat 500 Abarth edition and I was all over him on the straights. Pretty impressive. I thought my 744 handled well with the sticky 17" tires. I think this car handles the bumps better and sticks in the corners every bit as good. And the brakes will blow your mind sockets. They haul the beast down from whatever speed in an enormous hurry. I could make myself carsick in this thing...

I'll send you a PM when i have a chance to sit down and discuss this with Lisa. We came home yesterday to find our cat in a bad way and ended up having him put down last night, she's pretty bummed right now... :(

If you have any details/pics that you could send in the meantime that would be great, still not totally sure about this so if you have a committed buyer don't wait on me...

This one will be a couple grand less than the other one. There are some things I could do to it but the more I do the more expensive it'll be. I need to move it along because the next one is waiting to be picked up. I don't have the time or the desire to deal with too much. Everything else needs to get cleaned up and sold and Beth's Versa just blew the clutch slave for the third time so we have that to deal with before that car gets sold.

I'm busy all week preparing for another trip to California to pick up cars. I leave for that next weekend and will be gone most of the week. The car will sit for at least two weeks before anything happens...
