Hey everyone I'm looking for a fuel tank for my 1984 242 jet car. I'm going to pull mine and see if it can be steamed by a shop in town here. If not I'll need a tank and a complete in tank pump and pickup assembly. Cheers.

Just get a new one off of ebay or Rockauto, most used tanks by now won't be much better than yours. I replaced mine a little over a year ago and it was < $200. Biggest issue I had was the 78 filler neck is different so there was some screwing around required, pretty sure your 84 is the newer style.

The intank assembly can be used for sure which is what i did.
