Anyone have a good source/supplier for silicone bits? Just got a 3"->2 1/2" adapter from mopac, $30 without any clamps  . I see the same thing for $20 including clamps on ebay from the US, but don't think it would be worth it by the time you got here unless you bought a shwack of them.

This may be the only one I need, but down the road, you never know...

mostly because of the INSANE prices on these things, I always go to rona and use the plumbing section's rubber reducers - they work about the same and are like 9 dollars :)

Ronas stuff does not work well under boost and higher temps....
They explode i know from experience.

I use truck radiator hose you can buy it by the foot in a variety of diameters and it is meant to hold upto high pressure and heat.

I've personally seen 18psi on a rona part in my friends Merkur ;) the trick is to use a little PVC glue or stickyicky silicone between the inside coupler surface and the pipe.

Where do you get your Truck radiator hose?

Did you try Gregg's?

They're located near 58th Ave SE and 11th or 12th Street (whichever one down the hill at the Tee junction, turn left from 58th). Gregg's is an industrial supply/truck parts place. Silicone stuff is always expensive though.

Also try Corona (5622 Burbank Cres, at the end of the building last time I saw them), although I'm not sure they have that stuff.

I get all of my silicone at hose headquarters (just off blackfoot and 48th). Chris over there is cool guy, although I don't think your going to get it for much cheaper. I think 3" silicone is about $25-30/ft.
