are there any retailers that sell m46 conversion kits?
This isn't something that'll be handed to you on a silver platter...
Ask Viktor. Ask Roger. Ask me. We've all done or will be doing a swap like you're talking about and have sourced what we need from the wrecker. Perhaps the only thing bought new was a clutch kit.
One thing you're going to learn, if you haven't already, is that modding Volvos isn't like modding Hondas or Subarus. You just can't buy "kits". There is no aftermarket for Volvo performance (relatively speaking) so save a few independent guys who offer one or two products, if you want to do something, you're on your own. I'm not saying there isn't any support in terms of advice or encouragement but you're going to get the same answer when it comes to many things. "I got one machined at a local shop" or "order one in from Sweden because nobody in North America sells it" or "figure out what you need and see what you can find at the wrecker that's close and make it work". I'm sure there are some other "canned" answers but the end result is the same. If you want to mod Volvos, be prepared to do a ton of legwork. Been there, done that...
