Well, after some serious thinking i'm selling all my Volvo stuff, and I mean all of it. I dont have the time and money to do anything and need to put it all into investments so I can have some fun when I'm older instead of struggling to pay bills.

I have:

the 544, needs restoration comes with a ton of parts (needs to be towed down, should be here next weekend)
16v head
8v head disasembled
90+ mani
90- mani and blown turbo
m46
complete 740 manual swap
240 rearend
stock 740 front sway and springs.
3" downpipe and exhust for a 740 (over axle)

and some other bits.

Offers?

It's pretty easy, Derek. Take one out and put the other one in. I think it still depends on your driveshaft how complete this swap is, unless Tyler pulled both front and rear halves.

I'd be interested in the springs and the exhaust. Lisa doesn't want the wagon after all, or she wants a quieter exhaust? How loud is it, anyway - I couldn't hear it over the rod knock.

OK Tyler, I have to ask.
How much for the 544 and are you towing it down to Calgary???
We may have to talk about this.

Let me know so I can have a look at it

Hmmmm, interesting.
Two questions...would the downpipe work on a 240? And what number is the 8v head?
Thanks,
Greg

Oh...sorry.
Make that three questions! Do you have any intercooler piping?
Greg

Ok.

Exhuast: Yes its loud and homemade but it has a stainless steel muffler that was about $175 new (lifetime warranty) plus the piping plus the downpipe.
I think I had about $300 into it.

the 544:
I can tow it here for people to take a look at it. By the time it gets here I will have $850 into it. I would like about $500 out of it. It comes with a ton of spare parts (not the easiest to find for these things if your restoring it). Dont get to excited though. It needs alot of work. Floors and 1/4's for sure and probably a engine rebuild and brake service (comes with some extra drums).

the 8v is just a regular one, 530 I think it is. Matt? you should know it was your's.
I dont know if the downpipe will work or not, never tried.

tranny and swap peices, i'm thinking around the $300 mark for everything including the M46.

Just make offers guys. most people here know the value of most of it.

Don't toss the rear end. I might be up for some attempting to mount 122 suspension parts to it and putting it in a 122... Certainly don't need it any time soon though...

We've gotta talk, Tyler - when's good for you to get together & look at this stuff?
