I'm going to place an order shortly for some Wilwood calipers and rotors for Matt, Ian and me. We need some stuff to mock up the 740 adapter kits for the rear... It's going to be a substantial order already but if any of you wants to get some stuff in advance of our adapter kits being available, this might be a chance to get it. The best prices I've found so far is at hotrodusa.com and I'll be calling them tomorrow to check on availability of some specific part numbers.

In case you're wondering, we're building these kits for the Wilwood Forged Billet Superlite calipers, both front and rear. These are the 4-piston calipers I have on the front of my 122. I think the suggested sizes will be 1.38" pistons in the front and 1.12" pistons in the rear. The rotors will be 12.19" X 1.25".

The rotors are around $40 and the calipers are around $160 so you're looking at about $200 a corner plus the pads and adapter kits. Pads are between $65 and $85, depending on what you want. I'd recommend the BP-10 pads. Ian is running "Q" compound and likes them as well. BP-10 are cheaper by about $20 a set.

We're just waiting on word from Taiwan to see how many of each we need to order and how much per piece adapters will be, before we decide to go offshore or get them machined locally...

I'm hoping if I buy more than $1000 worth of stuff from this hotrodusa place, they'll give me a bit of a discount. If anyone wants to get a start on a collection of brake upgrade parts, show me your money...

Yeah...it's a load of cash to drop with no notice but we need to get this stuff ordered and out to Lynden so we can pick it all up the beginning of February when we go out...
