Need the advice of some of you goo roos.
I'm still debating between converting the 242 from k-jet to LH 2.2 or 2.4.
2.4 is better than 2.2 because:
a) the wiring harness is apparently much simpler and there seems to be a few cheap ones around.
b) it's self adapting
c) it's chippable
it's also worse because:
a) it requires a flywheel change, flywheels that aren't easy to find and expensive to ship because of weight.
Thats pretty much the only thing holding me back from going to 2.4. I've had my mind made up to go 2.2 for a while but now I've found a cheap flywheel and wiring harness on ebay.
My current question: if I can get it here at reasonable cost, can I use my 8.5" clutch disc and centreforce pressure plate with the 9" stepped flywheel, or do I have to get a whole new clutch? I've never seen the bigger flywheel in person....
