How bloody hard is it to find someone to help jump a battary in this town? there is no justice.
ive always been the kind who if a friends having battary/car troubles, i'll do what i can (i do carry jumpers in my car for a reason) and if i can't, then hang out with them until it gets fixed, give them a ride home, whatever.
why is it when my car is sitting out in the street dead, half the people ignore their texts, the other half are 'too busy'

...I had one instance of "oh I can't boost of my car. You can't boost of cars with airbags"

...I don't think he realizes that uh, my car DOES have air bags, and I've boosted other cars off her before. so that just really pissed me off.

okay, while i understand people have lives, i'm just gettin stressed and frustrated cause i gotta hit up work to get some work done. i can't get there when my car will not start. And, if it is indeed the battary, i'll have to drive around a bit before hitting up work to get it charged up again.

...update, finally my friend nic is gonna come down and boost me....poor lass lives all the way up by country hills...but she's coming down, god bless her!

The question begs to be asked though...Why did you need a boost?

I think what may have happened was....i have a wierd (possessed) door sensor on the driver's side. When it gets cold, it gets even more angry than usual....(remember my rant of having to drive all the way to work with the ding ding ding going...yeah) so i'm thinking what may have happened was the door sensor did not pick up that the door was closed...and the interior lights stayed on...and i just didnt notice cause i was home before dark for a change.

oh yeah...doi...needless to say i wasn't quite thinking straight. i kinda started getting some rage blackouts when i heard the 'i cant boost off my car cause of airbags' excuse.

AMA - think about it. Friends only give friends a boost when they've done something stupid (left lights on - can you do that on a fancy car?) - don't be the person that calls around for a boost because your battery's crap and you didn't think to get it changed before winter. I've always been surprised at what goes wrong with newer cars when low on battery power.

On a crappy day, AMA is a 2-3 hour wait unless it's an emergency. Might as well just buy a spare battery and leave it on a trickle charger in your house, and boost your own car. For the cost of a couple years AMA, you've paid for the battery.

ah yes but now it is something worse than the battary. well, for christmas my mommy got me ama. so if i cant limp the car over i'll be gettin the car towed to the dealership tomorrow cause, yeah. see the my car is dying thread.

and come on, i didn't realize my battary was gettin down, last time it was tested it glowed brightly dammit!
