Reg price $20 pr but that is the best price I have seen them for in a long time.

Most of the time you will only use a pair, only if you are doing a major repair will you ever need 4 (2 pair)

These are the smaller ones, correct? I believe Matt and I have the 3-ton stands. You can get the car way up with those but you need a jack to get it up there too. The there's the ones I bought at a garage sale last year...

The smaller stands are great for doing stuff when you need to stabilize the car. I don't feel they are big enough for bigger jobs like transmission swaps, etc, when you're working under the car...

However, I'd really question why Kat would need jack stands at this juncture. She's really got nowhere to work on her car and if she's doing something in one of our garages, I suspect she'd have access to our jackstands...

so, one pair? that'd just hold my front or my rear up eh?

Oh my...talk about leaving yourself open to abuse... :-#

i seem to be doing that alot....i made the mistake of putting in that i got the new battary and would be putting it in on saturday on my msn....

my god. the amount of people who assumed i was talking about battaries for...ahem...other things....was astounding.

and dale...you do kinda have a point. i do things on my car at home it'd be along the side of spiller road...hmm...not so great of an idea.

also...ive decided i've gotten my ass far enough into debt...so unless the expendeture is necessary (ie the battary....) it's not being done right now. (yes I'm girly, and I went to the mall to get some new work clothes n shoes...and yes I got some wicked deals...but...yeah. no more money spending for me!)
