I think on the konis I have in back of the 242 I basically have to remove them to adjust them. Dang, I can't remember exactly how now, execept that it involved rotating the two ends of the shock...

Yeah, that's on the red, single adjustable type. I'm pretty sure the yellow "sport" double adjustable type are adjusted externally.

Dale's got a set for his 242, maybe he can shed some light.

The yellows are adjusted with an external adjustor.
If you have red adjustables then you remove the inner bushing, compress the shock and turn the shock to increase or decrease the valving. I'm not sure if the reds you can get now are adjustable at all because they just say "sport"

They're on the softest setting. I wouldn't want them any stiffer unless I was at a race track.

Part of that is due to my heavy sway bar, and of course the solid rear axle. Not fair to compare with the suspension on your car- apples to oranges.

true enough.

004. Koni sport shocks/struts and Eibach Pro-kit spring package 1993 - 2001 This kit includes four Koni sport and a set of Eibach springs. 749.00

hmm...lowers it 1.3 on the front and 1.0 in the back...

...somehow I have the feeling i'd be needing lower profile tires lol

So what is the verdict on your cars suspension then? Because it looks to me like you are just going to go against what is being worked out with this deal and do it on your own.

BUT...this deal, again, I'd still have to buy NEW parts to replace used....which...hmm...I'd rather be a lil prissy bitch n get new, what I want, when I can afford it.

I guess the good thing about this is that my labour rate isn't all that expensive. Let me know when you are getting things and i'll figure out how much i'm going to charge you (if you want me to install it).
