I'm looking for an LH 2.4 EGR Temp sensor for my '95 940T. As far as I know the same sender unit is used in all 940s from '91 -. It's just a little thermistor that screws into the side of the EGR valve with two skinny wires coming out of it. I can't find it at any parts stores and the dealer wants a proverbial arm and leg for it. Ridiculous !!

I got one used from a friend in the US but I think it may have been from a 740. It looked the same but the thread on the bushing was different so it wouldn't thread in. #-o

Anybody know where I might be able to get a new or used one at a REASONABLE price ? FCP Groton doesn't carry them so don't suggest them. Lorne at the Revolv store in Saskatoon says he doesn't have one at the moment. Called Schramm's, they've got one but it's not exactly cheap. Still, much cheaper than the dealer so I will consider it if I can't find one somewhere else cheaper.

Thanks,

Roj

Your EGR isn't in the garbage can where it belongs?

I've disabled it on most LH2.4 cars.

Only if you've installed a big cam.
