On our way home from some friends in Okotoks last night about 10:30...

We were on the 2A just getting up to speed in the 100km/h zone. An Intrepid/Concorde passed us on the left. It was about 20 car-lengths in front when I first heard a bang, then something sailing through the air towards our car. Managed to swerve around whatever was flying through the air and the Intrepid was slowing on the left shoulder. As we passed, I could see his hood was now the general profile of his windshield. I presume what we swerved and missed was just a piece of insulation from the hood. Kudos to the guy for keeping it in a straight line at 110 when he couldn't see out the front...

Gonna be an expensive night for that guy. A hood and windshield at very least. Let's hope he knows about Pick & Pull...

So his hood release let go? Nice work on both of you avoiding a real incident.
