Hey guys, sorry to bother you all with this but I'm doing some "investigating" for a guy in the VW club. He is trying to contact a guy who has put a deposit down on a couple vehicles and parts that the person I am helping out is selling and the seller has not been able to contact him in over a month.

The guy's name is Drew Bassen, I believe he is about 38 years old and he was formerly an employee of Bert and Jacks (i believe). I think he came to the volvo 2008/09 seasonal gathering with Paul (Cancer man). If anyone has contact info for this guy it would be great if you could pm it to me.

The guy I'm helping out just wants to know if he should continue to hold the stuff for him or just put it back up for sale. He has already had to have one of the vehicles towed to the wreckers because it was racking up rent at a neighbors garage.

Give Paul a call, I don't have any of the numbers of the guests that Paul brought, but he would be able to get a message through to him

Paul's a little out of commission at the moment....but you could try calling up the shop anyway, maybe someone has a contact for this fella.

yea i heard he had an emergency hernia operation the other day, hope he gets better soon. Actually tried BnJs and apparently they hadn't heard from him in a while either. I guess he was just working temporary there.

lol thanks! i didn't even realize the picture made the paper till late on that saturday night so i had to run out and get the last few copies. Kinda hoping no one in the volvo club had seen the picture though , i still have love for the volvos, just on the back burner right now.


Update on the thread, I guess the seller managed to find out that Drew lost his job and left town in a hurry to look for work and hasn't talked to Paul or anyone since. He is going to give Drew until the 15th to claim his stuff and after that the stuff will be put back up for sale and Drew's deposit will be put towards march's rent for storage. (last bit is more for Paul in case he hears from him at all)

I can't seem to find a link to it on the sun's website. It was a picture of me and another member of clubveedub in a VW bus belonging to the owner of concept 1. It was a just a picture on the inside page without an article so it might be kinda hard to find lol.

oh... sounds gay. Now I don't want to see it.

That bus was one of the nicest things there.
I would almost trade my minitruck for it...... Almost.

yea its beautiful, I love how he redid it, made it look stock but added a few goodies. he hid the aftermarket stereo behind the seats and tucked speakers up under the dash so it all looks original, bagged it as well .
