I'll introduce myself, I'm Nikko, 21, 1st period RV technician. I hail from Edmonton; where riots break out over hockey, and I can't remember anything else cool ever happening here...
I currently drive a beat-up '84 245 I got for $450, for the winter, it's so far gone it's never going to be a project car.

On ramps on my driveway, I've got a '93 945 auto, forest green, with REX/Regina (poo) that's getting a front transmission seal replaced. I'm gonna megasquirt it and +T it as soon as the weather clears up. I've done a megasquirt on a B21FT (my old 244, I'll get to it) and I've done a +T on a B23F, so I figure I should be able to pull it off. Thinking of getting one of those EDIS rings so I can go that route for the ignition. Either that or an LH swap. Reliability will be an absolute must, which makes me lean towards the very easy to find LH2.2 turbo setup, as I have yet to see an LH2.4 turbo car in a PYP.

My little brother has an '83 242T, fully loaded, rust free with 133kKms on it, but with a trashed engine. Seems as though it was run out of oil, and the wastegate line looks to have been severed for some time. It's getting a B21A shortblock, with 20,000kms on a rebuild, with a cleaned up and grooved 398 head, A-cam, MS, and a powerstroke intercooler. Also planning EDIS for it. Going to stay M46 until it gets mangled, more out of the desire to trash a transmission, and then swapping a T-5 in when funds permit. It's going to be more of a weekend car until he gets his lisence.
Last summers project was a 244TI that can be seen here:

B21FT, MS fuel only, browntops, 4bar (yeah, I made sure there was more than enough fuel), m46, flat flywheel, 2.5" DP into 3" dump, with band clamps and adapters to hook it to the stock resonator and muffler when it's quiet time, 4 rounds with e-codes, flat black flat hood.
And my "lost love", the 142.

I got a '71 142S for $200, with a decent body, ran like a champ, but the wiring was shit, and the interior was crap too. Long story short, I neglected to pay some storage fees, and I saw it a month later stripped in a junkyard.
My first car, was an '85 LeBaron. I put some princess auto foglights on it, and a factory airdam, and some 5 spokes from a Shadow on it, and I loved it. Then one day, I was on the yellowhead freeway, doing 90, and the transmission downshifted itself to 1st gear, locked up the tires, overrevved the engine, and it blew up. I got mad, smashed it with a CAT 920 wheel loader, and sold it for scrap. $19 is what I got for it. I replaced it with a Volvo, and will never own anything else.

And the go-kart! I've got a 1969 Hornet Enduro racing kart, and I swapped the 100cc McCulloch race engine off, for a 1969 Suzuki TS120's engine, to keep it all period correct, and old school. It's not a huge amount faster, but the torque is more linear, and there are multiple gear ratios now. It's got skinny tires, and is VERY tail happy if you get it in powerband around a corner. I made all the shifter, clutch, and throttle linkages and the wiring, my brothers mounted the engine and got the sprokets set up.

And now you know all about my projects.
A bit more about me. 2 brothers, one older, one younger. I play guitar, listen to metal. All kinds. I'm biased towards Swedish metal though. I've had a wicked girlfriend for 2 years, looking foreward to more. Been wrenching since I was old enough to hold a wrench. Recovered meth addict (don't ever do that shit. It's really aweful what it does to people, I've been there/seen it first hand)
I guess that's my life story or whatever. Anyone here from Edmonton?
