Not to take anything away from Athal but I have dealt with Roy and so has Volvord. I ended up spending a couple nights as a guest in Roy's house and spent a fair bit of time with him when I was down there and got to know him quite well. He therefore is no "random stranger" as you put it. I wouldn't recommend Roy so highly if I wasn't sure that he was excellent to deal with. Certainly, give Athal a try and see what he can find for you but it wouldn't hurt to get Roy on the lookout for a car as well. Between the two of them one should eventually be able to find you what you want at a price you can afford.
