The Three Hills Car Show is on Saturday June 3rd so it is time to start a planning / info thread. Who is interested in attending :?:

The event is in Three Hills Alberta, about 1.25 hours north-east of Clagary (see map below)

Show starts at 12:00 noon but there will be a line-up to register as early as 10:00am or before.

Is anyone interested in going out Friday and camping over the weekend? I was thinking about it, weather permitting since we tent.
There is a great campground 19 Km West of Three Hills on highway SD#583 called Keiver's Lake. We often move into the group area, quiet clean with showers, free firewood, etc.

The hosting clubs website:

Map of the area:

I'll probably go, but won't be showing. Don't know what time I'll get there just yet, but we should try to meet up somewhere for lunch and we can all go for a hike around the show together?

FWIW, this was posted on Performance-Shop.com the other day:

Matthew wrote:
Tecmotion Chassis Dyno and Western Motorsports invite Mustang and Ford enthusiasts to our annual Three Hills Cruise from Calgary to Three Hills. This year the entire cruise will meet at Tecmotion and proceed directly to Three Hills. The cruise will stop at the car wash on the outskirts of Three Hills so that people can wash their cars if necessary, and we will meet the Wolf Pack cruise from Edmonton there before proceeding to the street.

Cruise participants are invited to bring along GMRS style two way radios for use during the cruise.

What - Cruise to Three Hills
When - June 3, 2006, cruise departs Calgary at 8:00 am sharp
Where - Meet at Tecmotion Parking Lot, 4636 11 St. NE, Calgary
Contact - Matthew, 250-1820

See you there!

-Matthew

Actually, I think I'm out too. My oldest friend is moving into his new condo on the 1st, and wants to paint before he gets his furniture & stuff moved in, which means we're painting on the 3rd and possibly the 4th.

The weatherman cannot seem to decide what is going to happen so I have decided not to camp this weekend. Driving up first thing Saturday morning and returning late that night.

Where do you all want to meet, as a seperate group or go up with the group meeting at Matt's Dyno?

"All" might be a slim number...

The 122 won't be running and the day could be better spent getting that accomplished...

Sorry...I won't make it this year...

It sounds like I am the only one heading to Three Hills tomorrow.
I know what it is like, everyone's car is apart and you are all working like mad to get ot done for the summer cruises.

If anyone does have a change of plans I will be cruising up with the group leaving from Techmotion at 8:00.

Have a great weekend all ... I know I will :D

I'll be in my garage too.

Raz, sorry to hear about everything man. If you can get out of town, get away from things, even for a day, that's always good. Of course, if you can at least improve the neighbour situation before you leave that would be best....
