Major problems with the 70s are the electrical contacts. If you get a bulb out light....you probably don't have a bulb out, wiggle the connector and voila, you have working lights again.

I havn't really heard of this happening though so i'm not too sure...we could always take the buzzer out.

on the bright side, the Car Gods have smiled upon me once more.

It was blissfully silent on the drive home. Thank god. If I had to make the six hour drive up to cold lake next weekend with that thing going off, someone would have died.

And the place right by my work patched up my tire for me! hurrah for it being only 15 dollars!!!

and ducky....no, my purse gets flopped on the passanger seat (or backseat if someone's in the passanger seat)

I'm kinda sad though that it's not doing it anymore...I was kinda looking forward to sprinkling my car with whiskey, grabbing a crucifix and chanting at it "the power of Christ COMPELS YOU!"

(yes, I don't have any holy water, I thought what was known as the "water of life" might do just as well ;)

Great avatar, Kat. Now at least I can say that "jiggawats" doesn't make me think of anything dirty. It makes me think of Chris Lloyd. Which is infinitely better.

meah I was left under the impression that all it was, was due to my mother constantly slamming the trunk (she had the spoiler knocked half off once) and a light got loose and back when my dad had the car, he was too lazy to fix it, and now that i have the car....well...i'm too lazy to fix it lol

and duckie, just a warning, i do joke around a lot...what i said about me putting up a piccie for your dirty thoughts was just me joking around. smile starshine.

Just to follow up on the demon possession of my car...
I think I possibly know what it is. Wherever the contacts are that tell the car that thedoor is closed...something is sometimes buggered with it. Apparantly, she had pulled this trick on my dad a couple times before...the door's closed, but according to the dingy, it's not. Usually it happens during the winter...I think this may be the first warm weather possession. lol.

So yeah. She tried to do it to me again a day or two ago...after closing the door a couple more times she shut up.

wh00t!

(and yes boys, feel free to laugh at me now...but just a warning, it is a well-known fact my brain just refuses to function for problem solving early in the morning)

Wouldn't be surprised. The tailgate light on Roberta's 855 sometimes stays on with the tailgate shut when it gets really cold out.

Uhhh...boy, this is going to take a while...

First you order a custom built head from JP. Once you have that, you order a surpercharger kit from the same guy. By the time it's all assembled, your car has rusted into the ground. It's that rare time when one actually has all the goodies assembled and working as a cohesive unit that it's in sport mode... :D
