Wouldn't it be weird to do a meeting where everybody go out by his own?

what do you mean?

I think it might be cool if some of us could go off and do our own things at points in time, i mean, if you think about it, we all possibly have different things we want to check out, what i might think to be amazingly cool and would love to do, some of you boys might be yawning, and vice versa.

but, im all for some togetherness as well! i heart my volvo boys!

I think its a little wierd i'll be honest...but at the same time its nice too.

I know that I would probably throw my bike in the car but at the same time I think I would just spend all day driving like a dink through the mountains.

Each way. Plus farting about on the way.

IPD is in Portland, incidentally.

Discussion about the iPd Garage sale.
I found out from Cameron at iPd that the 2008 garage sale will be held May 17 and he expects it to be very large as they are celebrating their 25 annual event

But again it is a VERY long drive.

as far as distance, meh, no worries for me i am used to it but if others are worried well, we could think of something else and just whoever wants to go to Portland could go in a mini group

just brainstormin here

ciao

Some possible locations:

1) http://www.oldentrance.ab.ca/
2) Willowbrook Bungalow RV Park & Campground
3)

Old entrance is nice but more expensive.

Willowbrook is east of Hinton, everything nice is west, also it doesn't really looks nice but it's still always full of oilfield crew.

In my own opinion, Folding Mountain Resort would be better suited. It's on Highway 16, 2 minutes east from Jasper Gates.

There's also Pocahontas Cabins with a Park campground 1 km south of it.

But I'll check tomorrow for more cabin resort.

Good observation, time to get a "friend" to go with you Kat :?

Call me insain but I see that both the iPd and a Jasper cruise could be in the works for next year ...

Lets move this discussion over to the CVC 2008 cruise thread to keep it in one spot OK?

I didn't want to confuddle the CVC cruise with something that I had thought would be a cool thing to do one day, whether I had a cruising partner or not. Might be an idea to keep them both separate anyway, and start another thread. However, I'm not 100% sure I want to GO to IPD just yet, or that I'll be ready to make the trip in May, so I'm not sure I should be spearheading that one.

In fact, why the heck does this need any planning at all? The date and venue are set, the festivities are set, all it'll take is a bit of talk closer to the dates to get some stops along the way arranged.
