Could stay at lundbreck, but if Greg or Craig have a lawn that could be used that would be more convenient, and cheaper on gas!

What an awesome event.
A special THANK YOU to Deirdre & Craig for your unbelievable hospitality .
:P
Next year the Volvo community NEEDS to make a strong showing at this event.

Glad to hear things went well. Sorry I missed out on this, and seeing y'all when you were down. The wedding I was at went well, but I was sad to miss out on the fun here. Any pics?

Ian might have taken some, but I know Craig & myself were without camera the whole weekend.

I didn't want photographic evidence of me wearing a pink childs hat (I'm pretty sure it was sexy).

Deirdre and I loved having you guys down in the deep south for the weekend. We had a blast and will do it all again in 364 days, this time with at least one 122 in the mix.

Greg - you would have loved the 100 foot dash - I didn't realize they let people out of prison just to fill the stands!

I still like the idea of bringing down the Power Wagon (my 400 foot long wheelbase Dodge Pickup) to compete in the autocross. I couldn't decide between 3 point turns or just mowing down the cones, though... I would have to defer to the way I feel at that point in time, I guess.

Not my video, but this is a sample of this year's 100 ft dash

Here is an indication of what Matt was taking about

Oh man. The 100 ft dash? Yeah, the jail is only about 100 ft away from the grandstand actually. I still can't believe we don't have a 1/4 mile track in this town. Watching cars race for 100 ft is like watching the first 30 seconds of a porno....things are just getting started. To me its ridiculous.

Cool, that'd be 2 power adders for four wheel drive and one for having power in the name - so you'd be in like class 3, I think (inside joke explained...we were trying to work out how the classes worked without reading the rules - and we were NOT watching cause we didn't sign the flipping waver). Isn't that where the boyz with the hats on crooked tried to drift? Now that was good comedy - smooth kiddies, smooth.

Now the power wagon drifting around, through and overtop of the cones would be fun. Actually it would be a lot like that C6 'Vette. By the way, the Mercury Zepher did beat the 'Vette.

Next year I hope they have a bigger track, Walmart parking lot is huge. Why not use all of it (the Mormon's are at church that morning anyway!).

Isnt the 100ft of Sat? Mormon's got on church on Sunday.

The Friday cruise was wicked, even though we got kicked out for no sticker (still did a lap though  )

The cruise on Magrath was alot of fun, we watched a guy do a huge smoke show with a cop on a motorbike right beside him, it was hilarious.
Alot of douchbagary but its all kinda part of the fun. Cant wait for next year!!!

I was referring to the autocross, not the 100 foot. It sure would be funny to see some white shirts out with the beer swilling, mullet sporting, gap-toothed, foul smelling people that go to the 100 foot. Ian, Matt and I barely made it out of there alive

Wondering what happened to you?
Why didn't you just buy a sticker, it was only $10 :?

The whole weekend was a blast, I just wish they could have the Autocross on Saturday, rather than at the same time as the Show & Shine
