right now tiffany brings home most the bacon, and it's not even real bacon....it's turkey bacon!

blah I am not a fan of turkey bacon.

Since we are masters of scheduling, sounds like a thursday would work for most local (Calgary) people and we should make a separate plan for a january meet with everyone. Just throwing a random out there, how does November 12 sound lets say 630 at the boston pizza at westbrook?

For the past several years we have had a Christmas gathering that has always been well (or should I say VERY well) attended. We usually rent a local coffee shop after hours and have catering provide a full meal, beverages are BYO but it is licensed. We have also learned that January is a far better month for this event, in December everyone is so busy there are usually lots of last minute no-shows.

I agree that with our expanding membership a centralized location would make more sense, but what we should also look at is the numbers of members attending and where they are located. This is definitely something to look into further.

The coffee shop idea sounds awesome! :mrgreen:

I'll bring the idea of a Calgary / Edmonton joint venture up at the next meet and see how much interest there is. I've said to a couple of people who like the sound of it, one of whom is based in Red Deer which would be handy.

Turkey bacon doesn't crisp up nice like real bacon, also, it's a crapload more expensive.
