Steph - the snow you got, i got worse, 3.5 feet from the evening of oct. 27 to oct.29th, then averaging 6 inches a day, everyday from oct 29 to when I left nov. 16, crazy eh?
the roads were gawd awful brutal!! highway 40 sucked travelling NW from where i was though, 6 trucks in the ditch, a car high centered on the guardrail...our trailer tried to pass us going down hills more than once
but we made it
*Dale you know the FTR road off of highway 40 that cuts to Goodwin? i was all up in there, Ghost Main, Smoky Main, Simonette, The Goat...don't know if those names mean anything to you or not but, two other roads i was on the Amerada and the Pan Can...pan can would be the best road for a rally, you have to call out every kilometer because you can't see 1/4 km ahead of you due to all the corners, that raod was fun!
