WOW summer is over and I think it is time to start planning our regular monthly meetings. This year we discovered that monthely meetings do not work over the summer months, but when we started the monthly meetings in the spring (March) they were well attended until summer.

I suggest we plan a winter / Christmas get-together, then schedule monthly meetings starting January 11 (last year the second Thursday of each month seemed to work)

How about a Christams gathering on December 14th ???

Why always on thursday?

Well an offer Steph, if you think you could make it to Calgary monthly we could see if a Friday / Saturday night would work for the majority of the members. Another option could be if you want to come occasionally we could reschedule a meeting to coincide with your visit and you can then grace us with your presence.

As a gesture, let us plan the December meeting for either Friday December 8th or Saturday December 9th

Not that I plan to come to every month meeting, but once in a while.

ya, school from 8-3 work from 4-11. So I get tuesday and thursday off

What about saturday?

saturday is generally spent doing errands that I need to run. I don't think saturday is a good day to do the meetings though because people have too much going on. Thursday is good because its during the week, so people will be home and its not a really busy night so the turnout would be best.
