Thanks everyone for coming out and bringing the yummy grub :) I think we're going to have to make this an annual event, we had a good turnout, and good times had by all.

Much love and thanks to Ian and Dale :)

Yeah, thanks to Dale for providing the space, thanks to Ian for GETTING the space, and thanks to everyone for bringing food and booze.

I hope there were enough volunteers to help tear down the joint when it was all finished!

Yes I agree with everyone, it was a great time ... good friends, good venue, good food & drink.

Thank you all for coming, some great distances, thank you all for contributing (special thanks to Kat and Dale), I see this is going to become an annual event.

I did like that venue though, it was a good size for how many we are.

Thanks everybody! Nice to see some faces hadn't seen in a while. Jade said she had a good time, maybe she'll even ride shotgun at one of the cruises this year!

That would be nice, Athal, though your aerodynamics might suffer what with you needing to have the sunroof open so she's got a bit of headroom...

I just want to start off by saying that I had a really great time and thanks to everyone who put in their effort in organizing this.

I also want to say i'm sorry if my attitude seemed a little bitter at times. I'm in a stage right now where it hurts a bunch to not be working on a car due to time/money/physical limitations and when asked about it then I become a tad sore about the subject. I like volvos don't get me wrong but at this time i'm torn between doing a volvo or another hidden project. If and when I decide what the next step will be there may be a lot of parts for sale from the various cars i've owned.

But definately once again thanks to everyone for the event.

No problem, Andy - your last Volvo kind of kicked the crap out of you, and I understand the frustration of not being able to work on a project for money/time/physical reasons. I also know what it's like to be burned out on a particular manufacturer. I've hovered around that point for the past few years.

My thanks as well to all who organized/helped/paid for this event. It was great to see a bunch of new faces.

Andy, I wish I could have talked to you more. Like Matt said, I think your frustration is totally understandable.
