I'd like somebody to come over and drive my 940T with the Bilstien HDs and IPD sportsprings and tell me there's a valving problem with the Bils. That car rides and handles great. Waaaay better than the stock setup I had on my first 940T.

lol you're so helpful dale...

What I meant was...what is INVOLVED in adjusting it? needing tools, get the car lifted up and get under it, etc etc etc.

cause...as far as that goes...I think y'all would get pretty annoyed at me if i had to take over one of your garages every time I wanted an adjustment

I wouldn't be annoyed at all. Of course, you'd never get into my garage...

I believe the Konis are adjustable from the top of the strut tower meaning you'd have to open your hood. I know you figured out how to do that at least once so you should be good...

koni yellows for your car would be dead easy to adjust. Like dale said, open hood, stick adjuster screw into top of strut and turn to desired setting. Drive said car round harsh corners and repeat process until optimal setting is reached.

Only if you can justify the cost, koni yellows are pricey mothers, probably $3-500 for the fronts. They are considered race shocks.

I was right. I found $208.95 per side plus shipping for the fronts.

The link I posted (www.shox.com) has Konis for $550 for the set of 4, about $100 more than the Bilsteins. On a daily driver, it sure would be nice to be able to soften them up for normal use and then for the spirited cruises, give 'em a crank and away you go.

I think you've got to jack the rear of the car up to get at the adjusters back there, though. The front ones will be on the top, when you open the hood you should see them, but the rears are buried under the car so I'm pretty sure they're located on the lower shock body, near the bottom.
