Nice...Saturday's weather for Lethbridge...

That's about normal right now...so much for getting a bunch of car stuff done. Now if I had the inside of my garage finished, it would be no problem.

Update on the bathroom renovations
For such a small room I am amazed at how much work and time it is taking.
Spent most of Friday cutting tiles for the back shower wall. This is what is looks like prior to installing

Looks very good Ian, I've got a dumb-ass question. How's that tile sealed? It looks like raw tile to me. Are you going to seal it before you grout it? Just wondering as getting the grout off the unsealed surface is a PITA. Also, I wonder what cleaning soap scum off it will be like (scrubbing bubbles to the rescue). Post some shots of the membrane - inquiring minds want to know.

Although the tiles look like stone they are actually porcelain tile which in totally water resistant. cleaning is easy with standard non-caustic cleaners. The grout is sealed with a very expensive sealer ($75 for 1/2L ... hope it works as good as they say ... guess I will find out)

The membrane I am using is called Kerdi http://www.schluter.com/8_1_kerdi.aspx not cheap, the shower kit runs between $400-$700 but again this seems to be the ultimate solution, no mold or mildew

As a Valentines present to my beautiful wife I finished the bathroom renovation (well almost finished). All that is left is installing the shower doors and some paint touch-up. I will have to work on getting some realy good pictures, photographing a small bathroom without a 10mm wide angle lens is almost impossible.
