I'm pretty much a go for anything within 20 hours.. of course, it has to fit my work schedule.

If the trip doesn't seem too intense, I might pull the boler with the 960.. otherwise I'll bring the 242 if my confidence level is good.

+1...I swear there are more Sheriffs in freaking Pincher Creek than anywhere else in Southern Alberta combined.

Here, the only place where the RCMP patrol is where you can't have fun. 8) I've seen them once on the Icefield Parkway and never on road like the Miette Hotspring Road or Maligne Road or stuff like that. Always on the flat 16 highway. (And they patrol, I've never seen them doing radar on the side of the road. :D )

So why would you go to a place with a pack of police?

That is NOT true Steph. My comments were simply to generate interest and discussions. Jasper is still a viable idea, there is lots to do up there including golf ...

I dunno, it seems that for calgarians, the distance between Jasper and Calgary is 10km when I drive, but it's 10,000km away when they drive!

That explains a lot...

Whatever we do. Wherever we go. We'd better decide on it soon or there won't be any room at the inn...so to speak.

ALRIGHT! Wing night - Feb 6, 2008 at Jamisons NW.

BE THERE if you wish to discuss, or let your opinions be known before then.
