Been following the thread... should be able to make it, will have just finished a recording project. Ian: the Hall idea sounds great. I would think much better conversation and mingling than the BP, both indoors and out. Not to mention more "interesting" food.

As many of you might have read from another thread on one of the other forums, Laureen & I have purchased Geoff Walliser's spanky red '89 744 Ti. It's confirmed now that Geoff (Geoff_240Ti) and his girlfreind are driving the car to Calgary (from Estevan) on Friday, Jan. 11 and will be staying with Laureen & I that night then flying back to Regina the following morning.

I understand plans are already underway to have a get together on the night of Saturday the 12th but since Geoff & Desiree are going to be here on the night of the 11th I'm wondering if we could possibly move it to the Friday night so Geoff & Desiree can take part.

So what up ? Can we make the get together happen on the evening of the 11th instead ? Who can make it for that night ? Are people open to that idea ?

Ummm...there will likely be other people there with vehicles...any number of whom might be able to give Matt a ride. He's a big boy though. I'm sure he's thought of this and has a plan...

well, Ian's kinda shotgunned the venue, so lets see if we can't get that changed for the Friday.

OK, a couple of items.

First, the Edgmont Community office is closed until Wednesday, so I cannot check availability until then. Having the option of a Friday night as a second choice is good, but to be honest I am not holding my breath that the hall is available, it is usually 100% booked.

Second, there are a bunch that have already made arrangements for the event to happen on Saturday the 12, this includes Dale, Matt, Kat, Craig, Greg, Houston, Athal, Chris, and hopefully Steph. Changing the date could mean others are not available. On the other hand it would be great to include Geoff

Let me start by checking if the hall is available either evening, but I would also like to see who is interested in the alternate evening (Jan 11)
