damn I was afraid of that, the most common shitty connection is in the tailgate but I should have done the taillights too. If you want I could come and take 5 minutes to do it one day. hell....i'm so busy at work I could come somewhere and do it during the day

Geeze, I'm going to be 37 next week...how did this thread get so off topic. Perhaps the young whipper-snappers need some focus-in.

I'm 45.9. Birthday is next month. I guess I'm one of the oldest in the club. I've owned and have been driving a Volvo since 1981 which is longer than a few of you young guns have been alive. Man, do I feel old... :-({|=

...if it makes you feel any better my older sister was born in 83 ;)
(and she was apparantly teaching my nana (mom's mom) how to drive our 79 volvo....it was a stick and she didn't understand that you had to push the button to put it into reverse...so here's my sister, who is almost two at the time, going "push the button nana! push the button!"

apparantly it was the cutest thing.

I neglected to mention this was when my nana was trying to get to the hospital cause my mom either was having me or just had me (why the hell the volvo was at home, that was the family's only car at the time....)

You know, I think my family lied to me. I think possibly that happened after I was born, cause my dad left the day after, and was gone for two weeks...so maybe I was already at home? bah! either way...I will find out the truth to this Volvo fable when I see my mommy tomorrow!!! (YAY!!!!...and yes boys, I am a total mommy's girl. And to an extent a total daddy's girl too...heehee)

I just noticed something...i said my older sister was born in 83. Thats a typo on my part (I blame the lappy keyboard) She was born in 81. ANd it was a ring thing you had to lift not a button. ...sadly, my sister burnt out the clutch before I learned how to drive on that ol 79 volvo :(

what were we talking about?
