just got home. ug. i hate it when a basic transmission filter change turns into breaking things, then frantically trying to find replacement parts, then having to resort to dropping the xmember to get things to fit, etc etc. Great visit, thanks paul for hosting and pizza and for letting trevor and i stick around to fix what we broke!

well by some miracle paul had a spare aw72 on the bench so we pulled the pan and dipstick tube from that. Getting the old dipstick tube off was fun- damn starter bolts, had to drop the trans x-member. Left under it's own power though, yup.

Tip- when removing the dipstick tube, turn the SMALL nut on the pan, not the big one.

Really hazed trevor into the volvo world! Poor guy didn't get the best first impression on 240s, to be fair it wasn't all the cars fault though! Good impression of the club though:)

If you look up "Awesome Pizza" in Calgary on google, they advertise a 36" pizza. I'd say that's about right.
