Nope sorry, now there's a brunch Monday morning. I said two or three pages ago that this weekend would be really bad for me, but it got changed anyway.

Sounds like Ian's wife and my wife might be tagging along so yeah...bring the wife the g/f, the b/f ...and a picnic lunch...

Are you aware that I saw snow this morning? It's raining now, but it's still probably snowing in the mountains. I'll change my oil and put my snow tires tomorrow. I could pass by the highway via Edmonton but it's way too much boring. I prefer to drive through the mountains.

So...here is the plan. We'll meet at Deerfoot Mall at 9:30 Monday morning. We'll head north to Airdrie, then west on Big Hill Springs Road to Highway 22. Jog north on 22 and then west to Water Valley. There is a road west of Water Valley that looks like a ton of fun...if it's paved. Brad mentioned something about a freshly paved road up there so maybe we'll be lucky. That road ends up at the Forestry Trunk Road near Waiprous and I believe it's actually oiled surface down to the 1A west of Cochrane. Anyone know for sure? I haven't been on that road for a few years and know it was hard surface for a few km north of 1A but can't remember how far... If it's oiled we'll head down the FTR to 1A and back into Cochrane and back home. If it's gravel, we'll turn around and go back through Water Valley again...

and yeah steph is right about the snow...this morning i was working at 530am...snow was a falling...although the rain chased us from hinton all the way home we didnt see any more snow
