Well, peak VE is at torque peak which is probably around 4500 in Ians lump. That'd be about what, 180 with your gears Ian? Bet you get the same economy there as at 110, you just arrive at the gas station a bit sooner;-)

I've got a 3" exhaust, big turbo and porsche CBV for when I'm rippin around. Otherwise, the 6 disc changer, boxed sub and dual amps keep my ears entertained on the long cruises.

I'm running an A cam right now, but I think I'll take my custom cam with me and swap it maybe friday night to see what it does to my economy on the way home...

Ok, I think we have some what of an issue(maybe?). Jared, who is no longer coming, reserved a cabin for him, Tye and I. I'm the only one who's coming. I'd much rather sneak into someone else's cabin, or grab a spot in someone's tent than have a whole cabin to myself, and pay a bunch of money for it.

Plan of action? Do three people want a spot in a cabin? Or can we call them and cancel that spot? Is there a tent with room for me? I doubt Jared will get off his butt to call them, so it'd have to be me calling, and saying what's what.

Advice from the elders?

My advise? Make your two friends pay for what they've reserved.

Anyone got a power invertor? I had mine two weeks ago and can't find it now. Matt has one but can't find it either. One would come in very handy to keep the craptop running while we're tuning and to run the real laptop on the road, if need be...

Okay, so just to clarify for sure....we're meeting at the Lundbreck Falls parking lot like Athal suggested, on the 3a right near the 22 at 10:00 am. We won't we waiting on the highway near the 22/3 junction. You'll be seeing a shiny white 122 with Craig and Deirdra, and a not as shiny yellow 245 with Laura and I. WEEEEE!!!!!
See you soon!

That is the plan. I'm leaving my fly rod at home just so I'm not tempted to spend an hour (a day?) fishing... :D

And Matt found his inverter...thanks Raz!

I got home at about 5:15, shaving about 45 minutes off of my trip there. Customs went fast, and I was able to get a new gasket and some nuts/bolts (WITH LOCKING WASHERS) installed in a parts store's parking lot in Nelson.

Nothing unplanned or bad happened, except my airbag might not work anymore because of how hard I hit it when some blond tried to sandwich me between a guardrail and her Explorer. It didn't help that I was already pissed at the prissy soccer mom with big glasses in her black Suburban that was blocking me from going faster than the speed limit in the fast lane.

Gas mileage wasn't great though, only 22ish, and I almost ran dry at one point... Eeeeeek.
