I just didn't realize she was POSSESSED!!!! lol. either that or I have a poltergeist in my car. Both times I have gone to get in my car today....the transmission was switched to economy. (usually it lives in sport mode...especially in the summer :)

so, either I keep accidentally hitting it....or my car is possessed!

btw - sighting...i'm gonna be stalkerish and throw out a question. Does anyone in here drive a yellow 240 (ISH) and was on 20th Ave NW between Edmonton Trail and Centre Street at around six today?

Was the yellow a bright yellow and did the front end sit considerably lower than the rear? Wasn't me.... :P

Some guy that works at Swany drives one like that. He's not a terribly friendly guy though. Pulled up beside him in the 122 one day. Wouldn't even acknowledge me...

I know the guy you're talking about Dale. I talked to him through the window on memorial one day, i think i was in darth. he probably didn't even realize your car is a volvo! not that he was super chatty either. saw the car up close at swany's when i was in there (For god knows what) a couple of years back. v8 conversion.

I'm always cruising around memorial, 10st, crowchild, 14th st, centre, edmonton trail, any time of day, so keep your eyes out for me!

Swany's is now euroworks. But anywho they only have the one kid working on the cars or something, my friend JD had a shop "headmasters" across from him and he says that he's a dink.

Yup, dealt with Neil and saw the car when I had to "break down" and buy my gas tank brackets from Swany. His car is not bad, a fairly basic conversion ... and my conversations with Neil were short and to the point.

Does that answer your question pro-star? ha ha. what's your name anyway?

Sorry none of us seem to be able to help you with your transmission switch question...

okay, guys, help. Now I know she's possessed.

The entire drive to work, you know the beeping that happens when you leave the keys in the ignition?

THE ENTIRE DRIVE it was going off.

Any idea what could be causing this?

(and then I get to work, get out, hear a hiss...looks like I ran over something that punctured a hole in my tire...sheit. Thank god I work right next to a tire place)

Roberta was forever putting her purse on the center console and wondered why her mirrors move. You're not doing something like that with your transmission switch, are you Kat?

As far as the ignition alarm... I dunno. That happened to my old 240 once, when the wiring harness was a bag of garbage. I doubt that's the case in your S70.
