Hey guys,

Well here's my first post on the CVC forums. I've been a member on TB for quite awhile. My names Greg and I moved to Red Deer almost a year ago from Thompson Manitoba. I had a few volvos back there, a 1998 S70 T-5 SE 5-spd, which is now sold to my dad, an '83 244 GL w/ a B23E and M46, and an '85 245 w/ a B230F and M46. I still have those back in Manitoba, but for now at least there they still, both not really movable to out here. Anyways my brother recently bought himself an '83 244 Turbo and its rekindled my love for volvos, which had kind of died the last two years. So I'm currently looking for a new volvo project, preferably a 242 or 244. I'd like to do a 302 swap (ya ya i know theres mixed feelings on this) but I think it'd be fun. That or I would still be interested in building a TI. Anyways I just wanted to introduce myself, and hopefully get to know a couple other volvo guys around here (I was the only one back in my northern hometown). Taker easy

Ya I really liked my S70. It was a pretty sweet ride.. It had every option for '98 except for the auto tranny. Nice black paint, and the tan color leather/suede interior. I was sad to see her go, but at least I know my dad takes good care of it.
Volvord.. I'm definetly going to be asking you alot of questions when my 302 project starts, I had surfed through your site and car pics etc. alot before, its cool that you're on CVC, and seem like a good guy to boot!
