Yes, I just got home from partially cleaning the bathroom to the new place. Partially, cause 1. I did want to get home and go to bed, 2. I haven't done the floors yet 3. I am waiting to do the bathtub until I have my showerhead in....which is one of those moveable hosey ones.

It was almost enough to make me want to vomit. AND I got attacked by spiders in the window. But that's another story! Seriously, the walls around the toilet...and yes, I wiped down the walls, they were disgusting....I'd take away the paper towel and it would be YELLOW!

YELLOW!

And down the toilet...YELLOW! ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE BLOODY TOILET!!!!

EEEEWWWWWW!!!!!! Boys, when I have you all over for the badass housewarming (likely november...gotta wait till I'm done the temp job) I better be getting compliments about how clean the place is! and how pretty! cause jesus christ. I have been going there after work every day now...and there's still so much more to do.

So, float those damned cheerios, and if you have sons, do the same for them.

Bright side, my landlady has taken such pity on all the work we're all having to do, i get an indefinate rent cut. SCORE!

AND...while clearing out the bathroom sink drain with needlenose plyers...I FIND A MARBLE DOWN THERE. Interesting place for a marble eh?

On the bright side, I had a shower, I smell pretty!

Hmmm...we don't have this issue in our household. All of the male members in this house have learned to sit down and pee at the same time...

Thats what damage deposits are for. You show the landlord what a mess the previous tenants left and she pays for a maid service to come and clean up. Previous tenants don't get damage deposit back.
That is crap.

But with a little sweat equity, Kat gets a discount on her rent. Hopefully it's worthwhile, for all the boy cooties she's getting.

i get a discount on my rent and i don't need to do a damage deposit anymore. score.

also, my landlady didn't do the "month's rent" for a damage deposit...she did something retarded like 400 bucks...which has already gone for flooring and walling and other necessary stuff....she's actually considering taking them to small claims

In my household we were all taught that if we cough during, uh, aiming (trust me, coughing makes things happen you dont want) to clean it up - properly - afterwards.
