So, this idea has been tossed around a bit....so i'm gonna post on it and lets see what everyone thinks!

We could just do a cute lil daytrip out to somewhere, or we could do a weekend cruise, what is everyone up for? Lets hear votes people!

So, who would be interested, and in what!

I'll try to be there. (I won't suggest to meet for a coffee in Banff or Lake Louise, people never want to go there)

Anyway, I'll have to think about winter shoes.

OKAY so...so far, here are the thoughts.

Sorry Viktor darlin, your idea of radium was kaibashed because it's "too far" for the old lads ;) also, possibly too much in gas for some people, and questions whether some cars would survive that drive.

SO! here's some thoughts and suggestions.

1. highway 1A to canmore/banff. Not so far as Radium, but still a pretty drive, with enough twisty turnys to keep it interesting.

2. Some were suggesting red deer to make it easier for the out of towners to join. (BORING drive though)

3. drumheller. but....still a boring drive. but cool destination! but boring drive.

ANY OTHER SUGGESTIONS? and let me know what thoughts are on the three possibles.

psst. I love how all of a sudden i'm the coordinator. how did this happen? lol

ANd so far as time goes, October 20-21st weekend somewhere in there, be it saturday or sunday, or possibly the weekend after 27-28th at the latest, so we can take the ol cars out for one last run before they get tucked in for the winter. This gives everyone a couple weeks to figure out what's goin down, etc.

C'mon people, I can try to arrange this thing but I can't do it without feedback!

Now you know how I felt with PacNW when I SWORE I would not organize it.

The 1A trip sounds good, that is a very nice drive, the only caution is the date and the weather ... could be snow ... but since we have no control over that l am in for a 1A cruise west on the weekend of Oct 20-21, either day works for me.

1A would be nice as well, and I would be in for that, but I'm 90% certain that I'll be busy for the next 6-8 weekends.
