I'm not sure what I did to deserve it. But it seems that all the nice cars are being sold now when there is no possibility of me being able to obtain them.

You, most certainly, won't build a car like that for that price. I think it's a smoking deal. I've got more than that into the 122...

Hey! Many students end up with a huuuge loan at the end of their studies! What would it be to get a small one to get a beauty like that?

I was eyeing that car earlier. Gorgeous, especially with the Eikers. I've never liked body-colour matched bumpers on a 240, but other than that, the car is sick. For $5000? Yeah. I've got close to double that into my wagon since I bought it in '98. And its not near as nice as that....sigh.

Wow man, Can't you space it out over time so you can take advantage of the 1500 a year you can write off in taxes?

I luck out. My shop is "helping" me build my tool box. 1500 so far this year.

Most techs take 10-15 years to build a huge box. I don't know anyone who has done it faster. Also, not everything needs to be mac or snapon. Though I buy mainly all mac. But there are 2 guys (out of the 5 of us, and one is JUST an electronics guy), and they don't buy shit. I bet one of my mentors has spent 8 dollars in the last 2 years I've been there. He is so cheap. He buys his shit from garage sales.

But seriously, I hope 20K includes school and living expenses. Or did you go buy the biggest fanciest Box you could? Which all of a sudden I can understand 10K of it.

Jordan

PS, anything about shipping that motor?

I bought a nice box, I dont want to upgrade it...ever. its the snap-on krl7022 one.

Plus going through school I get 50% off mac, and 35-45% off snap on so if you think about it, its cheaper this way. 20k covers school too.
