It may seem simple but I have been trying to come up with a clean and efficient power steering design for the Volvord. Well the wait is over ... almost.

EBay comes to the rescue again as someone has already done all the design & engineering.

The solution:

The bracket and pump are "in the mail"

That was one option, but I would have to design and manufacture the brackets, this is much easier and I really don't have the time to fart around when someone else has already come up with the solution

Uh...the fact that a Volvo power steering pump doesn't necessarily bolt to a Ford engine? :P

Your right that brackets are not rocket science but they need to be exact or you will toss belts, but:

1) for $30 why would I bother even trying to make a bracket which would take a considerable amount of time and never look as good.

2) buy the propper P/S pump where I can easily make steel braided AN lines rather than having to get custom lines made, which would probably cost as much as what I paid for the pump.

p.s. by the way the pump is a Lee Racing aluminum body unit

It's not like you're struggling for horsepower, so what the hell, eh? :)
