I'm wondering if anyone knows a location in the NE that you can clearly see downtown and the mountains. The NE is the only angle i can think of for the type of shot i want (aka downtown with the mountains behind said downtown) but i dont know if theres a location that would work with what im thinking...I don't know the NE well AT ALL.

any hints would be appreciated...thanks guys!

Take 16th ave east away from the deerfoot, first intersection is 19th st NE, hang a right, next intersection is 14th ave NE, hang a right, go straight - end of road = voila photo spot with downtown+mountains. If you want a nice mountain/downtown shot, I can arrange access to the roof of the braithwaite/boyle building on 16th/center even though its less mountainy and more city-y, or vice versa (wrong angle, but good view none the less)

Another really nice location is the P lot at SAIT: The one just south of the Jubliee parkade. Not so downtownie, but really mountainy.

either P1 (just east of the ACAD parkade) or P4 (west of jubilee) are nice places to take pictures from.

sigh. my picture shenanaigns are being pushed back...as my boss who was supposed to come back today...extended his vacation without telling anyone.

Another nice view is on 26th Street between Peigan Tr. and 17th ave. I think this is a great view, but it may be a little south to get both the downtown and the mountains in the same pictures.
