I'd like to bring my family to visit Banff Park/Calgary next weekend (Saturday-Monday).

Any suggestion on any good B&B or decent hotel somewhere in that area?

Exept touring around, any actitivities that would be good for my parents?

Thanks. I contacted the lady and unfortunately, they're booked.

Any other suggestion? And come on! Don't tell me there's nothing to see/do in Calgary???

Normally, those of us who live in Calgary spend the night in our houses, not in B&Bs. I've only got that one tip for the one in Banff 'cause a friend stayed out there.

You could try the internet?

Don't tell me there's no nice scenic view of the city or any Calgary typical view or whatever? :?:

Depending on weather and what they like to do.

1) plus 15 system to check out some shopping, galleries downtown.

2) calgary tower

3) see if there are any events/concerts happening.

4) Maybe a flames game?

5) banff hotsprings is an easy one if you're around the townsite anyway

Calgary Tower is a good idea.

For Banff Park area, I have many ideas already. (the hot spring is on the list) It's really Calgary that I have no idea.

I know that you don't bother staying in hotel or whatever, but you might have a better idea of good places to go or the ones to avoid. Like I know many of them around Hinton/Jasper even if I didn't stay there.

It's a bit at the last second, we where supposed to go to Vancouver, but due to a training course in Sparwood, (I'm in Fernie right now) I won't be able to get a long weekend as planned.

The CAP is another good idea.

The zoo is open during winter?

Yes, it is actually kind of fun in the winter.
Remember they also have the conservatories to warm up in.
