Derek - i was actually going to see about just a plain lettering of "calgaryvolvoclub.com"...i hate when web-based clubs keep the "www" in front of the name...like duh!

if anyone has suggestions for the site, changing whats worded etc. let the group know, by no means did i mean to speak for everyone but it's just something thrown together

i was just thinking, as i walked past a 16v a few blocks from my house, "i wish we had a website i could refer people to. One that said something about getting together to bbq, drive and swap parts and tech advice."
I get home, and bingo! Now we just need some cheap business cards with:

on them to put on peoples windshields.

staples does them cheap...i think i have 500 of mine made for like 15-20 bucks

i am thinking of getting rid of the "members rides" section...basically because we have a gallery and it's a bit redundant...

the home page will be the same basically, link to a "links" page, then a link to an articles page

if anyone has an idea of something else to put in let me know, post here or PM either or

my input:

go for the stickers; for the members rides section, we could even add a members' profile in there too...with questions like how long you have been in to volvos and stuff. i think a section like that would show just how strong a group we are....like a gang, sorta

the only problem with that is we're gonna keep growing

and when you get pictures of me from bbq's, feel free to keep my face in them.

also an idea, my brother started his own snowboard team/clothing line a few years ago and he gets shirts printed for relatively cheap, it might be kinda cool to have calgary volvo club t-shirts, if someone wants to come up with a design i could give it to my bro to get printed next time he makes an order. Im not sure exactly how much it would be but right now my brother is selling his shirts for $15 a piece and still making profit so they cant be very expensive.
